Bridgestone sole tire supplier of Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup Tokyo (March18, 2014) – Bridgestone has expanded its motorsports portfolio to include the newly-formed motorcycle racing “Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup”, kicking off its inaugural season in 2014. The world’s leading tire and rubber manufacturer will be the sole tire supplier for the series. Asia is rapidly progressing in motorization and this brand new competition aims to stimulate two-wheel motorsports in the region by uncovering and educating the young riders. Using HONDA NSF250R machines, races will be held in Qatar, Indonesia, China, Japan and Malaysia and feature a field of 22 rider’s ages13-20.All riders were determined at a pre-selection event.
