Tokyo, November 7, 2011 – Bridgestone Corporation today announced that it will exhibit at the 42nd Tokyo Motor Show 2011 to be held at the Tokyo Big Sight November 30 through December 11, 2011*1. Bridgestone?s booth at this year?s event will showcase the three themes of Reliable, Economical, and Futuristic. The booth will also communicate the appeal of Bridgestone?s products and the superiority of its technologies, as well as its advanced and forward-thinking nature, to show visitors. The booth introduces the following products and technologies, and allows visitors to experience them ”hands-on”.?1. Reliable a. Runflat tires that can be driven with zero inflation pressure for a limited distance at a reduced speed b. Studless tires that are designed for superior performance and handling on snow-covered or frozen roads 2. Economical a. Environmentally friendly ECOPIA tires that feature improved fuel efficiency through ?reduced rolling resistance.
