Drainage Technology
Improved wet grip
New drainage technology contains a central water channel to improve drainage and help the tyre attain excellent grip in wet conditions.
Improved cap compound
For all-round enhanced performance
Our engineers selected the best materials for U-AP 002’s improved cap compound. The low rolling resistance helps save on fuel and prolongs wear life, while high silica in the cap wicks water away and improves the tyre’s grip on wet roads.
Optimised tread pattern with sipes
For high protection against irregular wear
The new sipe geometry helps the U-AP 002 withstand side forces during urban operation. By preventing irregular wear, the tread design prolongs wear life and lowers total tyre cost.
