Bridgestone’s Potenza Sport has achieved one of its most prestigious award wins to date, after winning the Auto Express Summer Tyre Test for 2022. The ultra-high performance tyre came out on top over six rival products when tested in the 18in size in another significant triumph, having won the AutoBild sportscars’ sports tyre test in 2021.
To achieve the Potenza Sport’s cutting-edge performance, Bridgestone applied various new, innovative technologies in tread pattern, compound and construction. The tyre’s tread design applies several new cutting-edge features, including innovative 3D sipes to increase shear stiffness, with benefits in braking and abrasion resistance; the compound, thanks to an optimized formula combined with innovative mixing technology, improves wet and dry performances.

Tyre rotation is to change the tyre position recommended every 5,000 km (for 4x4) or 10,000 km (for sedan / SUV). This is an effective way to minimize irregular wear.
An annual wheel alignment inspection is recommended for safety benefits like reliable steering stability, driving comfort & minimize irregular wear
A tyre will typically lose 1-2psi of air per month in cool weather. In warm weather, the tyres lose more air. Keeping the correct air pressure in your tyres will make them last longer, make your car safer, and will help you save money on fuel.
Tread wear indicators appear when the tread has worn down to 1.6 mm. Never use tyres that expose even a small tread wear indicator.
Wheel balancing will increase the life of your steering and suspension systems and optimize your fuel efficiency.
A small tear can cause a tyre to burst. By physically checking your tyres regularly for scratches, cracks and irregular wear and tears, you can potentially avoid a bad accident.
