Bridgestone, the “Official Tyre” of the Dubai International Motor Show Future Zone to host ‘air-free’ concept tyre, ‘half-weight’ concept tyre, and tyre with ologic technology Dubai, UAE, October 22, 2013 - Bridgestone reveals the future of the tyre industry with its latest technological innovations at this year’s Dubai International Motor Show. The highly-anticipated event is taking place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from November 5 to 9. The world’s largest tyre and rubber company, and the “Official Tyre” of this year’s show, Bridgestone will be the first to reveal three new tyre concepts in the Middle East and Africa region; the ‘air-free’ concept tyre, the ‘half-weight’ concept tyre, and the tyre with ologic technology. Visit the Future Zone of the stand in Hall 2 to see these and more of Bridgestone’s latest technologies, products and ideas, with a strong focus on environmental solutions.” “This is Bridgestone’s first time as the “Official Tyre” of the Dubai International Motor Show. Lots of action is also on offer at the Bridgestone stand with the ‘Bridgestone 4D Theatre’, where visitors will get to experience the performance of Bridgestone tyres on a simulated road trip. For car-drifting enthusiasts, the Bridgestone stand will host and display the Red Bull Chevrolet Camaro, fitted with Potenza tyres. This is the same car model that current record holder Abdo Feghali used to break the Guinness World Record for the longest vehicle drift. Bridgestone is also one of the main sponsors of the Red Bull Car Park Drift finals that will be held on November 8, 2013 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
