BRIDGESTONE SUPPORTING AREAS AFFECTED BY THE NEPAL EARTHQUAKE

TOKYO (May 13, 2015) – The Bridgestone Group would like to express its deepest condolences and sympathy to the victims and those who lost loved ones as a result of the Nepal earthquake, which occurred on April 25, 2015.
To express its sympathies and support relief efforts, the Bridgestone Group will donate approximately 5.5 million yen (approximately $46,000 USD) in total through the Red Cross Societies.
Contributions by the Bridgestone Group to the earthquake relief effort reflect the Group’s longstanding commitment to Nepal. As a result of doing business in Nepal for more than 50 years, the Bridgestone Group shared a deep connection with the country and its people.
The Bridgestone Group and its more than 144,000 employees worldwide sincerely hopes for a swift recovery of the people and the areas impacted by this devastating natural disaster.
